There’s nothing like a weekend getaway with a few friends in the middle of summer. Sitting by the pool in 100+ degree weather is the picture perfect trip I have been thinking about. My friends and I planned to take a trip up to sunny Palm Springs next weekend. Relaxing by the pool with the palm trees and the mountains in the backgound sounds amazing! We are going to drive up Friday afternoon and stay till Monday morning. Although its a quick trip, its much needed since this summer has been busy for all of us. We are all finished or finishing up with college so it’s been a stressful yet exciting time for everyone.
We will be going to Palms Greens Cafe for dinner. I found it on trip advisor and the menu looks pretty good and healthy. On Saturday, we are planning to wake up early to go to the Cabazon Outlets for some shopping. I am most looking forward to the Kate Spade store because I need a new purse! After lunch we will relax by the pool for the rest of the afternoon. On Saturday night we are going to a steakhouse called Mr. Lyons. I heard it’s very delicious. On Sunday we are doing a spa day! That evening we will probably check out the downtown area!
While in Palm Springs I am going to take pictures and put them on cute Penless stickers. Penless has QR code stickers in the shapes of Pineapples and Flamingos that are perfect for the summer time! The cactus stickers will also work for this trip! I will definitely stock up on those ones because I am sure that Palm Springs is not the only summer memory I will want to share with my friends and family.
