Bookworm

As a teacher, I think it’s pretty obvious that I like to read. But my wife loves it even more…she is an English teacher who is trying to write her own book! Her book is coming to a close, so I thought it would be a good idea to give her a bookmark as a gift. Not just any bookmark though- a Penless bookmark. Penless makes any gift more personal by allowing you to attach a video or picture onto a QR code. The Penless Bookmarks have a QR code on them which makes it extra special!

On the QR code, I am going to take a video saying “Congrats!! Hope your book is a best-seller!” I think it is very thoughtful and perfect for this occasion. Penless has many products and designs which will fit multiple events and celebrations. I am thinking about putting the bookmark in her favorite book which was also her inspiration for writing this one.

Her favorite author is J.K. Rowling. She loves the Harry Potter series. The Harry potter series are some of the fastest selling books out there. It’s about a young wizard and all his friends. They attend Hogwarts School of witchcraft and wizardry. This scene is so popular that Universal Studios-Hollywood, decorated a part of their park this theme. They even have a Harry Potter ride!

At Universal Studios, they have a drink called butterbeer which is essentially coca cola and syrup. Butterbeer is super sweet but it is something you have to try at least once when you visit Universal studios. It is the classic Harry Potter drink so you can find it in the Hogwarts area.

Harry Potter is definitely my wife’s favorite book series although she has read hundreds of books. Some authors come in as a close second but nothing tops J.K. Rowlings. She has read the Harry Potter series a few times and seen all the movies, but just like most, she claims the book was better than the movie.

Personally, I have never read any of the books by J.K. Rowling but I have watched the Harry Potter movies with my wife. I will say, that I did like movies and I normally think the books are better than most movies so I am going to start reading them once summer time hits. I have been too busy during the school year with grading papers, that I do not normally have time to do much after the school day.

There is about a month left until my wife completes her individual book so I am starting to pick out which Penless bookmark I like most. They have four designs to choose from! My favorite is the one with the book and a worm on the front. I think she will love it! I cannot wait to see her reaction when I give her the gift!
